Digital Studies Instagram
I have been managing the UW Department of Digital Studies social media for the past two academic years. I created content that increased engagement and spread awareness about the certificate to students. I've worked to create reels, static posts, and campaigns that have helped increase follower count and build a stronger Digital Studies community. I developed brand-consistent digital content for social media platforms, and communicated strategically to a target audience.
Night Shoot Scene: Director & Editor
In this scene, I was responsible for establishing the scene's overall artistic vision, tone, and style, bringing the script to life. I led the crew through all phases of production and guided the actors to deliver performances that aligned with the script. This project was selected to be featured in the UW-Madison Communication Arts Showcase!
Dinner Table Scene: Director of Photography
In this scene, I was responsible for the overall visual appearance. During preproduction, I created storyboards and overheads in order to guide the crew on set. Translating the Director's vision into effective camera and lighting choices. I experienced operating the camera on set.
Wisconsin Waale Mini Documentary: Co-producer
In this project I followed UW-Madison's only South Asian acapella group on their journey leading up to placing in their first competing season, documenting their experience. Co-producing this mini doc, I was responsible for lighting, sound, image, and editing. Combining my passion for video journalism with my technical skills in production, I was able to help this student org reach new audiences!
